The Portable version charges via the smart charging stone in about 2 hours and can then be placed anywhere in the room without needing a nearby power outlet. The Cable version remains permanently connected to a socket and is always ready to use without needing to plan charging. If maximum flexibility and a wireless design are the priority, choose Portable. If you prefer a permanently powered floor light, choose Cable.

How long does the battery of Parrot Floor Portable last?

The battery life of Parrot Floor Portable is exceptionally long and increases exponentially with dimming. In Fire Vibe mode it lasts about 15 hours, with normal use up to 50 hours, and when fully dimmed even more than 100 hours. The lamp is charged via the smart charging stone and reaches a full charge in about 2 hours. This makes Parrot Floor Portable suitable for multi-day use without recharging.

What is the difference between Parrot Floor and Parrot Table?

Parrot Table (€599) is a corded table lamp that requires a surface such as a desk or bedside table. Parrot Floor (€1,090) is a freestanding floor lamp that can be positioned independently in the room next to a sofa, armchair, or as a sculptural object. Only Parrot Floor is available in a Portable version with battery and charging stone for fully wireless operation. Both share the same 360° rotating head, reading lens, Sunset Dimming, Vibes, and Sleep Timer.

How does the charging stone of Parrot Floor Portable work?

The charging stone is the elegant charging solution for Parrot Floor Portable. The lamp is simply placed on the stone and charges fully within about 2 hours. No cables need to be plugged in, making the charging process particularly convenient while maintaining a completely wireless design. The charging stone is included with the Portable version.

How do Sunset Dimming and Fire Vibe work on Parrot Floor?

Parrot Floor offers two lighting moods. Sunset Dimming automatically adjusts the color temperature when dimmed from clear white light to warm, blue-free amber light, similar to a natural sunset and supporting melatonin production and healthy sleep. Fire Vibe introduces subtle golden and amber tones in gentle motion, creating a lighting composition so delicate it is hardly consciously perceived yet adds sensual depth and warmth to the room. Both modes are controlled via the aluminum switch on the lamp.

What is the Sleep Timer and how is it activated?

The Sleep Timer gently dims Parrot Floor after a set period and automatically switches the lamp off, ideal for falling asleep without getting up. It is activated using the aluminum switch on the lamp. The exact activation sequence is described in the user manual.
