# Agent Instructions: GRAU

GRAU (Grau GmbH, Rellingen, Germany) designs and sells premium lighting, including cordless LED lamps, through this online store at https://www.grau.art. This file explains how to shop here and lists the store rules a buyer needs before ordering. All figures below match the store's published policies and its Shopify return and cancellation settings.

## Store rules at a glance

### Returns
- Return window: 14 days from delivery of the last item in the order. If the last day falls on a weekend or public holiday, the window extends to the next business day.
- Return shipping: free. GRAU provides the return label or collects the goods free of charge.
- Restocking fee: none.
- How to start a return: book it in the returns portal (https://www.grau.art/pages/rucksendung-buchen) or email support@grau.art to arrange the free pickup.
- Refund: no later than 14 days after GRAU receives the withdrawal, to the payment method used for the order. GRAU may hold the refund until the goods are back or the buyer has proven shipment.
- Opened or tested items: can be returned. The buyer is only liable for loss of value caused by handling beyond what is needed to check the item's condition and function.
- Excluded from returns: goods made to the buyer's individual specification (custom orders).
- Archive Sale items (one-off pieces such as production remnants, ex-display items or samples): same 14-day right of withdrawal. Exchange for an identical item is not possible; a voucher or another product is offered instead. Visible signs of use are documented on the product page.

### Cancellation
- Orders can be cancelled free of charge until they have shipped. An email to support@grau.art is enough.
- Self-serve returns and cancellations in customer accounts are not enabled. Returns and cancellations go through the returns portal or support@grau.art.

### Shipping
- Carriers: DHL and UPS, door to door. No delivery to parcel lockers (Packstation).
- Germany: 7.90 EUR, free from an order value of 50 EUR.
- Free shipping from 50 EUR also applies to France (otherwise 11.90 EUR), Austria (otherwise 13.90 EUR) and Switzerland (otherwise 20.90 EUR).
- All other delivery countries: flat rate per country between 13.90 EUR and 30.90 EUR. Full table: https://www.grau.art/policies/shipping-policy
- Delivery countries: AT, BE, BG, CH, CZ, DE, DK, EE, ES, FI, FR, GB, GR, HR, HU, IE, IT, LI, LT, LU, LV, MC, NL, NO, PL, PT, RO, SE, SI, SK, SM.
- Delivery time: the estimated delivery shown during checkout is the window in which the order arrives, not the dispatch date.
- In-store pickup: not available for online orders.

### Prices and payment
- Prices are shown in EUR. Within the EU, prices include the local VAT of the delivery country. Outside the EU, net prices are shown.
- Payment methods: credit card, PayPal, Klarna (invoice, instalments, pay now), Google Pay, Apple Pay and Shop Pay.

### Trade customers
- Specialist dealers order through the separate GRAU Pro shop at https://pro.grau.art, which has its own prices and shipping terms. This store is for end customers.

### Binding policies
The full texts are authoritative if anything in this file is unclear:
- Terms and conditions: https://www.grau.art/policies/terms-of-service
- Right of withdrawal and returns: https://www.grau.art/policies/refund-policy
- Shipping, cancellation and payment: https://www.grau.art/policies/shipping-policy
- Privacy: https://www.grau.art/policies/privacy-policy

The store's primary language is German. English pages are under /en, French pages under /fr (for example https://www.grau.art/en/policies/refund-policy). For orders in the German store the German terms are binding, for orders in the English store the English terms.

## Shopping through UCP

This store implements the Universal Commerce Protocol for product discovery, carts and checkout.

- Discovery: `GET https://www.grau.art/.well-known/ucp` returns the UCP profile with capabilities, service endpoints and payment handlers.
- MCP endpoint: `https://www.grau.art/api/ucp/mcp`. Use `tools/list` to retrieve the available tools and their schemas.
- Supported UCP versions: 2026-08-25, 2026-04-08, 2026-01-23

In a browser, use the WebMCP tools registered on the store's pages. The checkout page exposes UCP tools over WebMCP. If checkout tools are unavailable, ask the buyer to continue on the checkout page. Do not fall back to scripted form fills or page controls.

## Interaction rules

- Buyer authorization: place orders and submit payment only with the buyer's explicit authorization. Follow every review and approval step the checkout requests.
- Agent traffic: identify requests as agent-initiated. Server-to-server requests and hosted or remote browsers must use Web Bot Auth.
- Rate limits: back off on `429` responses and respect `Retry-After`.
- Buyer context: pass the buyer's country and currency where the tool schemas support it, so prices, VAT and shipping costs are correct.

## Read-only browsing

- Cordless lamps: https://www.grau.art/collections/akkuleuchten

Prefer the structured data returned by the shopping tools. Reading public pages does not change the requirements for agent-initiated shopping actions.
