Nymphenburg Castle: A New Light on History

Located in the heart of Munich, Nymphenburg Castle is one of Europe's most magnificent Baroque castles – a testament to centuries of Bavarian history. We had the honor of developing a customized lighting concept that breathes new life into the iconic architecture and highlights both its historical charm and modern significance.

Our design combines restraint with theatricality, honoring the castle's heritage while enhancing its appeal for today's visitors.

Our lighting concept is based on a deep respect for the architectural integrity and cultural significance of Nymphenburg Castle. In order to preserve the historical structure of the room, we have implemented a system of free-standing spotlights that illuminate both the interior design and the works of art without making physical contact with walls or ceilings.

This approach ensures maximum flexibility while maintaining the highest standards of historic preservation. Each spotlight is individually adjustable, enabling precise, dynamic lighting that adapts to the unique character of each room and exhibition.
